My Photographic Art:
Photography by definition is - darkroom photography, which uses film and chemicals to develop film and fiber based prints.
Silver-gelatin prints were developed in the 1870's they remain the standard black and white print type: Victoria&Albert Museum.
Photography to me is the use of: Form - Light - Shadow
I handcraft each one of my prints in my darkroom to produce the impact and feeling I'm after. The latent image I put on film and brought to life with development is matched to a particular printing paper and custom developer I make through my own experiences.
Note: Resin Coated Silver Gelatin Prints can never be archival and will start a self-destructing process in a matter of years!
